Museum of the Moving Image
[Identity System Rebrand]The Museum of the Moving Image is a media museum located in Queens, New York City. The Museum appreciates art, history, technology of film, television, and digital media. The Museum showcases temporary and permanent exhibitions; film screenings; live conversations with industry professionals.
My mission for the rebranding is to bridge diverse communities by building a more equitable and inclusive cultural future. My primary design is centered mainly on the verticality of design and uses this movement to represent the contemporary museum.
Logo Development
The logo is derived from the uniform form of the vertical pillars which reflect the vertical aspects of design. The shift halfway throughout the logo represents the visual imagery of the “moving image”.

The institutional posters promote the consistent brand elements/textures as well as the media that are streamed and promoted within the museum.=

Exhibitional Posters [Wong Kar-wai]
The first series promotes the screening of classic films directed by HongKong film director and screenwriter Wong Kar-wai.
Exhibitional Posters [90s Anime Collection]
The 90s edition Anime Collection series is the final series of exhibitional posters and gives light to the collection of upcoming vintage animations screenings.
Website
The new museum website is centered towards efficient and easy-to-navigate wayfinding. The website is used to establish more emphasis on the imagery that are used to promote the screenings and events hosted by the museum.
